Rise of the Ronin is launching on PS5 later this month, and you might be wondering if it’s coming to PC down the line. Here’s what we know about Team Ninja’s plans for the game post-launch.
Rise of the Ronin is set to launch on March 22, taking players to the war-torn world of 1863 Japan. In the new title from Team Ninja, you’ll take on the role of a nameless samurai, destined to choose your own path and decide the fate of the nation. Incorporating Soulslike elements from past titles like Nioh and Ninja Gaiden, the upcoming release also offers several difficulty settings and online multiplayer co-op to tailor your gameplay experience, travel alongside friends, and forge new paths. While the action RPG is primed to launch exclusively on PS5 consoles, can we expect its arrival on PC? Here’s what we know.

Is Rise of the Ronin Coming to PC?
At the time of writing, there are currently no plans for Rise of the Ronin to receive a PC release following its launch on PS5 consoles. While Team Ninja has yet to make an announcement, however, many remain hopeful that the new title will make its way to PC in the future. This is because previous projects from the publisher, including Nioh, expanded to PC following a PlayStation-exclusive launch.
Granted, there’s no guarantee that Rise of the Ronin will get the same treatment. However, it does stand to reason that Team Ninja would continue the trend prior to the release of the studio’s latest project. For now, this is all just speculation. We’ll need to await more news from developers as we near the action RPG’s release date this month.
Will Rise of the Ronin Be on PC Game Pass?
Unless Rise of the Ronin receives an extended release post-launch, the game won’t be available through PC Game Pass. There is some hope that the game will receive an extended release in the same way that past Team Ninja projects have, though we remain in the dark for the time being.
