Phantom Blade Zero is a highly-anticipated combat-focused adventure game, developed by the Chinese studio S-GAME. The game has been under development for some years now, but the fans are in for a treat. A new trailer for Phantom Blade Zero is right around the corner.
In 2022, S-GAME officially started development on Phantom Blade Zero. It is described as an “action role-playing game with hack and slash elements that features fast-paced, third-person combat set in a dark, wuxia-themed world.” Thanks to the recent success of Black Myth: Wukong, Chinese AAA games are getting some traction, and a martial arts game in a dark Wuxia setting should be a real hit.
A New Trailer for Phantom Blade Zero Is Here
About a year ago, we had the first, “Announcement” Trailer for Phantom Blade Zero. It was followed by another one in May, named “The Blade is Drawn” Gameplay Trailer, which, unsurprisingly, showed some footage of monsters, combat, boss fights, and cinematics.
And, a couple of days ago, Phantom Blade Zero’s official X page announced that a new trailer is on the way. “A brand-new #PhantomBladeZero trailer is coming January 21st at 8 PM PST! Witness an intense, unedited Boss Fight gameplay video that showcases our bold innovations and deep dive into crafting the ultimate melee combat experience.“ That is January 22, 4am GMT, and January 22, 5am CEST for our friends in Europe. Phantom Blade Zero will be playable on PC and on PlayStation 5.
Unsurprisingly, the fans can’t wait to see what the devs have been cooking, with comments like: “Been waiting to see more from you all for a while now, can’t wait.” by Ebontis, and “I know this game is going to be amazing! I can’t wait to see more!” by juanofakind101. It is just a couple of hours until the trailer goes live.
