On January 20, players had a chance to learn more about the upcoming Season during the developers’ livestream. Everything was aesthetically pleasing, the new Season will be amazing, by the looks of it. However, one detail soured the experience for players worldwide. The Infinity Nikki livestream included redeem codes for Version 1.2, but only for the Chinese Mainland server. Obviously, the players playing on Global servers were quite peeved by this action and vocalized their dissatisfaction online.
Redeem Codes for Version 1.2
Now, we can’t know for sure whether it was an oversight or the backlash, but the developers acted quickly and shared the codes for the Global servers mere hours after the livestream. The announcement on X read: “Redeem all the codes for: Diamondx300. Blingx50000. Thread of Purity x 150. Shiny Bubbles x 150. Revelation Crystal x 10”. You can redeem these codes starting January 20, 2025, 5 am (UTC -7) through February 4, 2025, 8:59:59 am (UTC -7).

Infinity Nikki Fans Ask for a Fair Treatment
Some would say all’s well that ends well. However, Infinity Nikki players are mostly still confused about the delay of the Version 1.2 redeem codes for Global servers. Veterans of previous Nikki installments warned the community about possible problems in the future.
One player, MissTrevelyan, noted: “If I learned one thing being a European and playing multiple gacha + RPGs…China/Japan will always get 120%. The US will get 80%. Europe, if we’re really lucky, we’ll get 50%”.
Key_Status27 added: “Considering that they apparently have a history of locking international players out of content and promotions in previous Nikki games, I think they should have anticipated the backlash and just released everything at the same time if they were going to do it anyway. Unless they weren’t planning on releasing these codes and only did so because people complained, which is even worse”.
Now, we don’t like to assume the worst, so we’ll propose that this was just an oversight. Still, the devs should treat all the players equally, especially since Infinity Nikki became a global phenomenon. Thus, players worldwide are spending their money on the game, and they deserve to be treated equally.
So, always feel free to voice your complaints, after all, the devs have listened to the community before, and they probably will again. Oh, and don’t forget to redeem the older codes, as well, some are still active. Enjoy the game!
