Astro Bot is one of the most popular PS games of today. It first began in 2018 as Astro Bot Rescue Mission, the sequel, Astro’s Playroom, was released in 2020, and finally, the third installment simply titled Astro Bot was released on September 6, 2024. Astro Bot quickly rose to fame and was praised by both players and critics. It looks like gamers everywhere really do enjoy a good platformer, especially one that also features characters from other popular PS games (their Astro Bot versions, to be exact).
Like practically every other modern game, Astro Bot features trophies that players can achieve by completing specific in-game tasks. Usually, PS games have a special Platinum Trophy that you can only get if you have managed to get every other Trophy in the game, reserved only for the most dedicated players. Well, it looks like Astro Bot players are pretty dedicated, as a surprising number of them have managed to get that Platinum Trophy.
Around 20% of Astro Bot Players Have the Platinum Trophy
The Platinum Trophy is the rares of them all, requiring you to earn every other trophy in the game. In Astro Bot, the details regarding the “plat” are as follows:

Usually, the percentage of players who have a Platinum Trophy for any given game is pretty low, somewhere in the single digits. However, when it comes to Astro Bot players, 20% of them have managed to get the coveted Platinum Trophy.
For the record, players have to complete the game, find all the other Bots, get all the collectibles, and complete a bunch of different puzzles. That is no small feat, so the fact that 20% of Astro Bot players dedicated their time to do all that speaks volumes about the quality of the game. Kudos to Team Asobi for making such a fun and engaging game.
