When Does Payday 3 Release?
Payday 3 is scheduled to release on Thursday, September 21. It will be launching for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on day one. This is the release date for those that purchase the standard edition.
Does Payday 3 Have Early Access?
Players who pre-order either the Silver or Gold editions will receive three days early access and can start playing the game on Monday, September 18. These editions also come with Season Pass bonuses and other in-game items. Those who have purchased the Day One Edition and Collector’s Editions will not be able to play the game early, as these editions don’t have early access included.
Is Payday 3 Free To Play?
No, Payday 3 is not free to play and players will have to at least buy the standard version to play the game, or pay for the Xbox game pass.
What Is Payday 3 About?
Payday 3 is a cooperative shooter where up to four players work together on various heists. That includes the initial planning and then executing the robbery. Some missions may require stealthy tactics, while others will be guns ablazing.
The game takes place several years after Payday 2, and the gang gets back together to take care of a different group that caused them to come out of early retirement. While the previous game took place in Washington D.C., this new entry moves the gang to New York City.
