Palworld Players Insist the Developers Must Add More Weather Conditions

Palworld is famous for its sunny, bright colors and its equally sunny community. Now, that community is once again uniting, this time in a request for one obvious feature. Palworld players are asking the developers to add more weather conditions to the game.

Different Weather Could Have Varying Effects on Pals

Many players stated that adding more weather options could provide more depth to the game and offer a fuller immersion. Different weather conditions could have different effects on the gameplay. One player, Zaldinn, joked: “Running with a sword and getting electrocuted by lightning while your Orserk gets a power boost”.

TheChaoticCrusader provided the community with a full list of possible weather conditions and the boosts and debuffs they’d provide. They noted: “Normal weather should just boost grass. Rain should only affect spawns or maybe boost water damage while lowering fire damage. Thunderstorms could boost water and electric damage and have a chance to strike the player”.

This player suggested that certain types of weather should only appear in certain areas. For example, they suggested: “Blizzard (only on the Ice Island), Sandstorm (only on the Desert Island), Scorching heat (only on the Volcano Island)”. All of these would have particular effects as well.

They also came up with another great concept – an eclipse. This player explained: “Day exclusive weather eclipse  (only on the New Island) causes night time effect during the day, both day and night spawns to spawn and causes all wild species to aggro each other as well as the player”.

Some Palworld Players Don’t Think Weather Should be a Priority

As most of the community praised these ideas and added their own, some players were against more weather conditions being added to Palworld. SirWigglesVonWoogly explained: “There are a million other things I feel are way higher priority, and even if raining watered your plants you would still be using Water Pals because it’s unreliable”.

The_Char_Char expressed their concerns: “As cool as that sounds, please don’t make it so only some Pals appear in X weather. I hated that in Pokemon Sw/Sh. If they are still able to spawn but it’s just more or less likely I’m okay with it”.

WyrdHarper added: “I think having weather that affected spawns could be fun. More Water Pals in the rain, maybe dust storms or ash clouds that increase Ground or Fire types, etc. With the new expansion fungal blooms from a certain Pal could also be cool”.

We think that some new weather conditions might refresh Palworld. The changing weather could also add another dimension to the game, which would require new materials or some kind of weather station that would allow the players to manipulate it. The possibilities would be endless. Unfortunately, just like adding a whole new ecosystem, it might take a while even if the devs are interested in going in this direction. Hopefully, they are, and we’ll hear about it soon.
