One of the things we admire the most about the Palworld community is its ability to offer advice on every possible problem. Whether it’s about, feeding, breeding, farming, or just general advice, the community is there and ready to help. Even when you have a morally questionable idea, like how to capture the Wandering Merchant, the Palworld community will gladly help.
How to Get Pal Fluids in Palworld?
One player, extremly-wierd, decided to use the helpfulness of the community. They asked: “How to spawn a Visiting Merchant? There has been a Wandering Merchant coming to my base. Do any of u guys know what are the conditions for him to spawn? He sells Pal Fluids and that is something I desperately need”.
Now, the more sensible side of the Palworld community offered some tips on how you can collect Pal Fludis without necessarily capturing the Merchant. Logical_Glove_8440 noted: “On a side note, you can also capture a Kelpsea and put it in the ranch to farm Pal Fluids, but capturing the merchant works too”.
Another player, Johann2041, figured out a different way to collect Pal Fluids. They suggested: “You can go to the area near that Mamorest boss near initial spawn and nerf some of the Pengullets there. They drop a couple of Pal Fluids per capture/kill”.
Catching the Wandering Merchant Might Be the Solution
Other players had a little more extreme approach to resolving this problem. As you may have suspected, their suggestions were to capture the Wandering Merchant. As the Merchants are NPCs, they can be captured, like other NPCs.
Defenestrator66 suggested: “If you’re okay being a horrible person, next time one comes around, build a hanging trap at his feet to hang him upside down, then build a fire under his head and BBQ him down low enough to catch. Once caught, you can summon him to your base as a work Pal anytime you need to buy or sell his stuff”.
SaucyJ4ck admitted: “I tamed a Wandering Merchant and it was the best decision I ever made. He kept teleporting out of my house if he didn’t have an exit path. So I beat him within an inch of his life for his insolence, and now he lives in my Palbox. If I need to buy something, I take him out and we have a little chat. Then back in the box he goes”.
If you are in need of Pal Fluids, we’d suggest you try the less extreme approach first, before you apply the severe measures. Sure, it might be cool to have a live-in Wandering Merchant in Palworld, but at what cost? After all, Palworld is just a game, so choose the approach that you find the most efficient, or think of an entirely new one. We’re eager to hear what you’ve come up with.
