Trying to figure out how to heal in Palworld? You’re not alone. We’ll cover the different methods you can use to replenish your HP and any injuries that your Pals might have sustained.
From the start of your Palworld playthrough, survival plays a key role in the progress you make. You’ll need to take environmental factors into consideration, like cold and heat, to stay alive and well. But, that’s not all — even with strong Pals at your side, you might wind up injured from wild Pals and poachers from the Syndicate or Free Pal Alliance. Not to mention, raids can also take a toll on the well-being of both you and your team. With the odds stacked against you, you’ll need to find ways to heal up. Luckily, there are a few routes you can take to restore your HP and that of your Pals in Palworld. Let’s dive in.
How to Heal Yourself in Palworld
Healing yourself isn’t as simple as crafting healing consumables in Palworld. Instead, you’ll need to rely on the following methods.
- Go to sleep in your bed.
- Recruit Pals with healing skills.
- Wait out your injuries.
Sleeping
Going to sleep is the most reliable method to restore your health in Palworld, though it’s not always accessible. If you’re able to make it back to your base quickly, then this is the best way to heal up. Napping during the day or sleeping through the night will replenish your lost HP in no time, with napping allowing to to regain HP for as long as you remain in bed and sleeping through the night replenishing all lost HP.
Health-Restoring Pals
If you can’t make it back to your base, there are still a couple of other ways to get back in shape. Some Pals have Partner Skills that restore a certain amount of health to the player. With these species on your team, you can heal up just about anywhere:
PAL | PARTNER SKILL |
---|---|
Teafant | Soothing Shower |
Lovander | Heart Drain |
Felbat | Life Steal |
Petallia | Blessing of the Flower Spirit |
Lyleen | Harvest Goddess |
Waiting it Out
While you can’t always escape from wild Pals, hiding for even short periods of time can allow you to regain your HP slowly but surely. Some Pals are equipped with moves that limit your movement, so if you need to leave one of your own Pals behind for a moment to distract your opponent, this could help you get away. However, it’s important to note that waiting it out doesn’t fix all wounds. If you’re burned or poisoned, for example, your health won’t replenish so easily. In this case, you’ll need to make it back to your base ASAP.

How to Heal Pals in Palworld
In order to heal your Pals in Palworld, you can try one of two things:
- Give them healing consumables.
- Put them in the Palbox.
Using Medical Supplies
Generally speaking, healing consumables can be used to heal Pal injuries, but they don’t restore HP. There are three variations of Medical Supplies in Palworld, each of which you can craft at the Medieval Workbench. These supplies include:
- Low-Grade Medical Supplies — treats colds and sprains
- Medical Supplies — treats ulcers and fractures
- High-Grade Medical Supplies — treats weakened and depressed Pals
Low-Grade Medical Supplies can also be found in chests throughout the game, or picked up as drops from various species of Pals, like Flopie.
Placing Pals in the Palbox
Placing an injured or incapacitated Pal in the Palbox is the most reliable way to heal them in Palworld. This is better than simply waiting for your Pal to regain HP, as it’ll heal any injuries your Pal has and restore HP. Depending on the Pal, recuperation periods can range anywhere between five and 10 minutes. Granted, you’ll be short a team member during this time, but you can always rotate another Pal in for the time being.
