Player visits the Wandering Merchant in Palworld

Trying to figure out how to get your hands on Mind Control Meds in Palworld? Not sure how to use them? We have the answers to your questions here. Stick around for details about how to obtain these healing items and put them to use.

On your Palworld playthrough, you’ll need to rely on your Pals to survive the harsh conditions of the Palpagos Islands. By assembling a team and putting Pals to work at your base, you can accomplish much more than you would as a one-man team. That being said, you’ll need to monitor the health of each of your Pals to ensure they’re in ship-shape. This means using various medicines to heal ailments when they arise, one treatment being Mind Control Meds. While they sound rather shady, these meds can prove helpful later on in the game. Here’s how to get Mind Control Meds in Palworld and how to use them.

How to Get Mind Control Meds in Palworld

Mind Control Meds are a mid- to late-game healing item in Palworld. Fortunately, there are a couple of different ways to add these meds to your inventory, though these methods aren’t accessible if you’re just starting out. Here’s a look at your options:

  • Purchase meds from a Wandering Merchant
  • Make your own

Where to Buy Mind Control Meds

You can sometimes find a Wandering Merchant with supplies of Mind Control Meds in Palworld. These guys are decked out in bright red clothing, so they’re easy to spot. However, your options exclude the merchant located in the Small Settlement, which you can access from early on in your playthrough. You might have some luck scoring these medicinal items from the sellers you find wandering throughout the landscape on your travels, but you can reliably pick some up from those found at Fisherman’s Point and the Duneshelter.

Truly, the only problem here is the price. Sitting at 10,000 Gold, you’ll need to set aside a good amount of cash before you’re able to purchase Mind Control Meds. To top off your funds quickly, I recommend putting a few Mau to pasture at the ranch on your base, as these Dark-types drop Gold throughout the day.

How to Make Mind Control Meds

Once you’ve reached Level 43 in Palworld, you can craft yourself an Electric Medicine Workbench, which can be used to make Mind Control Meds. This will require you to spend three Technology Points on your Technology Tree.

To craft the workbench, you’ll need:

  • x40 Refined Ingots
  • x10 Circuit Boards
  • x20 Carbon Fiber

Once the structure is built, you’ll just need to put an able Pal to work and gather the following materials to craft Mind Control Meds:

  • x10 Refined Ingots
  • x10 Horns
  • x5 Bones
  • x3 Pal Fluids

While this is all very simple, the process of crafting meds can be incredibly time-consuming. Many Pals are equipped with the necessary Medicine Production Work Suitability to get the job done, but you’ll want to recruit a Pal with a Level 2 skill or higher to speed up the process. Bristla is the easiest to catch, though other good options are Lovander, Elizabee, Katress, and Lyleen.

Mind Control Meds Uses in Palworld

With Mind Control Meds, you can heal all status ailments and completely restore Pal Sanity, to boot. This entails increasing the overall happiness of the Pal as well, but we can assume this works much like a placebo, given the healing item’s title. That said, you can use these meds to perk up afflicted Pals who have overworked themselves at your base. This can come in handy later on in the game when you’re operating out of several bases at once and may not be able to oversee their work at all times.
