Players Unsatisfied With Prime Wars in Once Human Offer Their Suggestions

If you tried playing Prime Wars in Once Human, you already know there is a lot to be worked on. The players have been complaining about this event since it started. Now, the Once Human players compiled a bunch of suggestions on how the devs could improve the state of Prime Wars.

Once Human Players Share What Bothers Them the Most in Prime Wars

One Redditor, Blubbpaule, started off the conversation. They noted: “They are not engaging – apparently the only way to actually win is by using tons of rare resources to destroy the shield. You are not guaranteed to win, so if you fail because people are unreliable you will waste all resources you used for missiles”.

They also reflected on the fact that the servers can’t withstand forty people. This player recalled the server dying and having to wait 20 seconds for it to reload. Another huge problem was the boss bugging out, making it almost impossible to win.

Jengebloodeye suggested: “We need explosive ammo for those shields that are accessible from mid to late game. That way, everyone can contribute without the need for the RNG specialization to obliterate the shields. And the rewards need to be looked at, I can’t be crafting expensive explosives only to get 1/10 of the rewards back”.

Another player, AzureFides, noted: “Yeah, the design isn’t fun at all if it comes down just to spam huge amount of explosives. Also, I hate that the rewards are heavily blinded to DPS. For the easy difficulty, this might be fine for now. For harder difficulty, solo players will never keep up with hardcore players only because they can’t craft enough high-level explosives”.

Some Suggestions Weren’t as Tough

Of course, not all Once Human players have had bad experiences with Prime Wars. One player, vinnie1134, explained how there is no need for high-level explosives. They claimed the biggest problem was the players who hadn’t read the rules and therefore couldn’t’ contribute well.

This player added: “The c4 does 1000 damage to the shield. Blue Nades do 450. The end score screen shows people doing 30k+ damage and plenty doing less than 1k damage. People are just screwing themselves by not contributing so they don’t get 3 loot crates at the end”.

Another player, binxeu, reminded the community to be patient. They said: “I think it’s still the early days, the servers have only just enabled them. In a week these will not seem so tough and materials will seem less rare”.

We’d have to agree that giving the Once Human devs some more time to stabilize Prime Wars is one of the best suggestions. Sure, all the complaints are valid, and it’s good to put them out there so the devs could know what to focus on. But, the most crucial thing the players can do is to be patient and show support.
