Once Human How to Use Stardust Resonant Filter

Once Human resonant filter in the player house

To get a Starchrom currency in Once Human, players have to craft and use the Stardust Resonant Filter machine in their base. Certain materials, like Cortex, can be used in a Stardust Resonance Filter to gain Starchrom, but this can be dangerous.

Once the machine is used, players have to defend it if they want to get this rare currency. However, being that Starchrom is used at the Wish machine to unlock rare Weapons and Armor Blueprints, it is worth the risks. Stick with us, and we will explain how to build and use the Stardust Resonant Filter in the game.

How to Use Stardust Resonant Filter in Once Human

Using a Stardust Resonant Filter is quite easy, all players have to do is place an Eclipse Cortex in the machine and press Purify. However, using this machine will spawn some enemies that will attack your base. Additionally, successfully defeating all the waves of enemies is required to get Starchrom.

Before players can use a Stardust Resonant Filter they need to have some materials that can be purified. Cortex stones are perfect for this, and they can be found as a reward for completing a Dungeon for the first time and completing public events like Warband activities and Public Crisis Events.

Cortex comes in several levels, which is important not just for the amount of Starchrom rewarded. The number of enemies players must fight while the machine is working depends on the Cortex level used. Once players place the Cortex in a Stardust Resonant Filter, all the information about enemy types and numbers will be deployed above the Purifying Vessel menu. Considering that Starchrom is a valuable currency, you might have to summon a few friends to help with the defense.

How to Build Stardust Resonant Filter

Before any purification can be done in Once Human, players first have to build a Stardust Resonant Filter. Some materials are needed, and we recommend building this machine around some fortifications and turrets that will help you once it is used. Below is a list of all the materials needed to build Stardust Resonant Filter:

  • Acid x10
  • Copper Ingot x10
  • Glass x20
  • Metal Scraps x30
  • Rubber x20

Once players have all the materials needed, they only have to press the “B” key to open a Building menu. Then select the Facilities section, and under the Functional tab, find and select the Stardust Resonant Filter. Place the Filter in a prepared location within your base and start purifying the Cortex to get Starchrom.
