It is time for the next Helldivers 2 Major Order, and this time the Automatons are helping the Terminids build their army by diverting Super Earth’s attention away from them. The last time that a Major Order focused on the robot army the Orbital Napalm Barrage was on offer, but the community failed the event. However, now that players have tried using the Stratagem when it was temporarily granted, the community will likely be focused on fighting the bots this week to try and permanently unlock it.
The Helldivers 2 community was successful in completing the previous Major Order, which rewarded players with 50 Medals to help unlock items in the Freedom’s Flame Warbond. Upon completing the Major Order, Super Earth announced the victory with the following message:
“The Terminid outbreak from the Gloom has been contained, with property damage and loss of civilian life both within acceptable parameters. The bugs wrought massive devastation across the Jin Xi sector, forcing many families to flee from their homes, but the swift action of the Helldivers prevented significant loss of territory and protected the investments of the Ministry of Expansion.
Rebuilding efforts are now underway, with evacuated families being moved back to their beloved colonial homes they were forced to abandon. Parents and children are eager to resume cultivating the bounty of these worlds in pursuit of their dreams.
The Terminid hide their un-Democratic activity behind the shroud of the Gloom. Efforts to peer within the cloud continue. So long as the eye of Liberty remains obscured, Tyranny will be allowed to foment within.”
Players were then tasked with the next Major Order, which once again turns our attention to the Automatons as they mount another attack on Super Earth. This is so the Terminids can continue to “increase their warfare capabilities” as they hide in the inaccessible Gloom. Super Earth announced the next Major Order by saying,
“The Automatons have launched another brazen expansion in an attempt to steal more territory from hardworking Super Earth citizens. Intercepted communications indicate this latest incursion is targeting a large repository of titanium on Imber, possibly for use in construction of some kind of enhanced strike force.
The Automatons’ recent expansionist efforts have been constrained by the might of the Helldivers. Now, they are clearly attempting to increase their warfare capabilities, in an effort to capitalize on the threat posed by the Gloom.
Our enemies’ appetite for territory and resources is never-ending. They are emboldened by our recent failure to upcycle their war machines into tools of Freedom, and now they seek to create yet more vicious means by which to steal our children’s futures. The Helldivers must stop them.”
The Helldivers 2 community has been tasked with defending against multiple Automaton attacks as Super Earth acquires titanium deposits, which could permanently grant us the new Orbital Napalm Barrage. Players were unable to unlock them during a recent Major Order, but they were temporarily given during the previous Major Order and were a huge hit.

- Defend against 6 attacks from THE AUTOMATONS
- Hold IMBER when the order expires
