Bringing a slew of new content for both games, Season 5 is releasing at the same time for everyone, no matter the platform or time zone. Speaking of time zones, here’s a breakdown of when to expect the release:
- West Coast USA: 9 am PST
- East Coast USA: 11 am EST
- United Kingdom: 4 pm BST
- Central Europe: 5 pm CEST
What is new in Season 5 of Modern Warfare 2?
There are plenty of changes and additions to the game with the new season. Some of the highlights include four new maps available on release. New Core maps include Punta Mar and Strike, while new Gunfight maps include Lounge and Canal. DRC Zone 1 will also make an appearance later in the season as a new Core map.
In addition to new maps, two new game modes will launch with the new season. This includes Havoc and Big Capture the Flag. More game modes will rotate in during the season, including Gunfight Snipers.
