The First Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Delay

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was originally slated for a 2022 release window. However, this release was pushed back earlier last year, leaving fans disappointed, to say the least. However, with how promising everything looked, fans were much more forgiving, allowing Rocksteady the time to properly polish the game before putting it out into the world.

The revised release date became May 26th, 2023, and after that first little hiccup, it seemed like nothing could stop the hype train in its tracks. That was until now.

Second Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Delay

After all the waiting we did, reports from Bloomberg suggest that we may have to wait until even later in 2023 to get our hands on the Rocksteady title.

According to Bloomberg, the postponement will help them address various bugs and enhance game elements that needed polish. They further state that the core gameplay, which had previously sparked some backlash, will not undergo significant changes during this period of refinement.

This information comes from a source that Bloomberg has chosen to keep anonymous, one that has direct knowledge of the matter. This person could be a higher-up on the development or publishing side of the game, though the entire thing could also be a false report.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time a Warner Bros. videogame saw delays nearing its release window, as the same happened with Hogwarts Legacy not too long ago.
