According to a Pokémon Presents held on 27 Feb 2023, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet would be connected to Pokémon Home in early 2023. While the games are not connected as of writing this piece, the connectivity should be implemented soon in the upcoming months.
Gholdengo is the 1000th Pokémon added to the Pokémon franchise, and as such, it’s probably a high priority to have him implemented into the Pokémon Home Pokédex. We can expect this update to be implemented as soon as April 2023.
One major addition that you can’t access otherwise is Roaming Form Gimmighoul. With Pokémon Scarlet and Violet support, players will finally be able to bring over Roaming Form Gimmighoul from Pokémon Go over to your mainline title. Finally, all 1000 Pokémon can be collected together!
