Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is getting another shot at life on current-gen consoles as it is bound to be rolled out next month. The reboot sequel will be bringing in new modes and features on both its campaign and multiplayer co-op modes.
Even the maps in its multiplayer mode have undergone some substantial upgrade which is something to look forward to. It has been announced that the maps from 2009’s MW2 will be carried over to the upcoming title alongside the aforementioned tweaks.
It is indeed some great news as this is something to be hyped about. With that in mind, some fans are wondering whether the well-known PvP map of Nuketown would be included in Modern Warfare 3’s roster of maps.
Will Nuketown Be Included in Modern Warfare 3?
As of writing, the aforementioned map is not included on the confirmed list of multiplayer co-op maps for Modern Warfare 3. This may be frustrating to many Call of Duty players but need not fret. The war-themed game franchise has this penchant for surprising its community as there could be a possibility that Nuketown could still see the light of day in MW3.

- Some features may require an online subscription
Since its introduction in 2010’s Call of Duty Black Ops, Nuketown has grown into players and went on to become one of the most played maps within the franchise. Its depiction of typical 1950s suburbs, not to mention a compact-sized map is well suited for quick and fierce gameplay.
If it gets reintroduced in the upcoming Modern Warfare 3, it is expected that it will be updated graphically alongside some gameplay mechanics that will be aligned with today’s multiplayer gaming landscape.
