Amazon Games’ action-adventure role-playing game that is New World is about to drop its first-ever DLC dubbed New World: Rise of the Angry Earth. The game has been live for quite a while now and it will be a breath of fresh air by the time its expansion is rolled out to its playerbase.
Now that its fans are in for another ride with the game’s new DLC, they are now musing if both the vanilla and the expansion will be playable on an Xbox console.

Unfortunately, the MMORPG including its DLC won’t be available on Xbox. The base game was originally released for PC, but a version for the aforementioned game console was not mentioned even to this day.

Its Game Director Scot Lane explained a few years back as to why they are focusing on the PC platform. He explained that they are checking how far they can go in the game in terms of its graphics. That said, he went on to say that consoles might hinder the game’s potential in that aspect.
All hope’s not lost, though since there’s a possibility that the direction of its development could shift towards that direction. Since the game console’s present generation can handle demanding games, it’s just a matter of time before New Word and New World: Rise of the Angry Earth gets an Xbox port.
