Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the most anticipated games of 2023, which has caused a lot of speculation. One of the biggest questions is what consoles and platforms it will appear on. PlayStation and Microsoft have a habit of buying the most popular teams and paying for exclusivity.
So a big question is whether the game will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 or not since Sony buys exclusivity more than Microsoft does.
Is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Exclusive to PS5?
Fortunately, no. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not an exclusive title for the PlayStation 5 or any Sony console. It will be available on multiple platforms, including PC and Xbox Series X|S. Fans who do not own a PlayStation 5 console can still enjoy the game on their platform.
The game was developed under Respawn, a studio under EA. EA isn’t open to exclusivity or anything close to that for any console maker. In fact, in the Console Wars novel by Blake J. Harris pointed out that EA never was scared to disagree or even go against a big console maker. So we can imagine that they wouldn’t lose potential money on exclusivity for any company.

Will Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Be Outside of Playstation?
Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be available outside of PlayStation. This means fans can play the game on other gaming consoles and PC. However, there are no plans to release the game on older consoles such as the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
This is due to the hardware limitations of previous-gen consoles, and how limited that can be on next-gen discs.
What Platforms Will Star Wars: Jedi Survivor Be On?
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will not be available on Nintendo Switch or last-gen consoles. There is no word on why it won’t be available on the Nintendo Switch.
