Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been a breath of fresh air for the franchise. While we can forgive the odd crystal skull or a pensioner throwing a whip around for the thrill of the adventure, the new game returns to a better time. Initially launched on the PC and Xbox, the game is confirmed to join the PS5 in the spring of this year. The PlayStation launch was pushed back to ensure the Xbox version arrived as a “great experience” with room for further development and optimization.

Spring begins on the 20th of March this year, which when you align with the PS Plus new game cycle, leads us to believe we could expect the game to reach PS5 on April 1st – yes April Fools Day. We can only speculate if the game will join PS Plus and of course the 3-month window means the game could launch at any time but the first Tuesday of the first full month of Spring makes the most sense to us.
PS5 pre order expectations
PC and Xbox early backers of the Premium and Collector’s editions were given three days of early access. We could see this again with the PS5 but as the game will have already been out for some time it may just go straight to shelves with no pre orders whatsoever.
The game is expected to cost $69.99 for the Standard edition and $99.99 for the Premium.
