How to Unlock Kevin Levels in Overcooked 2

Overcooked 2 is one of the best couch coop games available on recent consoles, with many offline multiplayer enthusiasts even going as far as to say that it’s one of the few games keeping offline coop alive in an industry that seems to rapidly be shifting toward online services.

However, what many players don’t know is that aside from the already packed main campaign of the game, it’s possible to unlock a couple of additional levels as well. These levels are named after the game’s adorable dog Kevin, and can only be unlocked when the player meets certain requirements first.

We’ll be going through all eight of the Kevin levels in Overcooked 2 as well as the requirements players need to meet to unlock them.

Overcooked 2: How to Unlock Kevin Levels

Kevin Level 1

The first Kevin level is, as is to be expected, the easiest to unlock from the bunch. The requirement to unlock this level is to simply go to World 1-3 and achieve a tip combo of two. Chances are that even if you aren’t trying to unlock this specific Kevin level, you’ll still end up unlocking it because it’s just that easy.

The Kevin level itself isn’t too easy. There are two dishes on the menu, those being steamed fish and steamed beef, and you’ll have four minutes to achieve the highest score possible.

Kevin Level 2

The second Kevin level can be unlocked in World 2-2. To unlock it, you need to achieve a tip combo of three if you’re playing solo, or five if you’re playing in coop. Fortunately, it shouldn’t be too hard to do this.

When playing the Kevin level, you’ll be tasked with cooking steamed fish, steamed carrots, steamed shrimp, and steamed beef, and you’ll have four minutes to get as high a score as possible. One thing to keep in mind is that every Kevin level from levels 2-8 asks you to make the same four dishes, and you have the same amount of time.

Kevin Level 3

Kevin Level 3 can be unlocked in World 2-4. Instead of requiring you to hit a specific combo, however, you’ll have to get a score of at least 600 if you’re playing solo, or 1,000 if you’re playing coop.

Kevin Level 4

Moving on to Kevin level 4. You can unlock it by going to World 3-1 and reaching a score of at least 450 if you’re playing solo or 1100 if you’re playing co-op. This mission has a strong emphasis on baking, so be sure to bring your baking hat with you.

Kevin Level 5

To unlock Kevin level 5, you’ll have to go to World 4-3 and achieve either a tip combo of four if you’re playing solo or five if you’re playing coop. Just be careful with what ingredients you add to the burgers you make, and you should be able to hit the requirement rather easily.

Kevin Level 6

Although the requirement to unlock Kevin level 6 sounds easy, with it only asking you to get a score of at least 400 if you’re playing solo or 500 if you’re playing coop in World 4-5, it’s harder than it sounds because in this mission you’re forced to wait for the conveyors to transport dishes, and let us tell you, they’re slow.

Kevin Level 7

Unlocking Kevin level 7 is probably the hardest because of World 5-5’s design. Although the combo requirement of 5 in solo and 8 in coop sounds low, you’ll have to juggle multiple things at once, because of which we recommend you bring a couple of friends along with you.

Kevin Level 8

The final main campaign Kevin level can be unlocked in World 6-4 by achieving a combo of 5 if you’re playing solo or 7 if you’re playing with one or more friends. The complex orders of burgers and pizzas can get overwhelming quickly, so be sure to pace yourself.
