Can You Turn Off Crossplay for MW2 on PC?
Unfortunately, there is no way to disable crossplay for PC or Steam. There has been no word from Activision as to when it will come, but since a newer Call of Duty is coming out, we suspect it won’t come in MW2.
If you go to the same settings you went to for PlayStation, you’ll find the crossplay option is missing. Therefore, PC players had no choice but to play with console players.
Will MW2 Get a ‘Disable Crossplay’ Feature for PC?
Most likely not. A new Call of Duty game has been announced for this year, so there isn’t much reason to add an option to disable crossplay.
Activision would have a hard time adding that kind of option right before releasing another installment.
