Where To Find the Key for the Village Square Drawer in Resident Evil 4 Remake?
You cannot open the locked drawer in the Village Square until Chapter 2 of Resident Evil 4 Remake, so it’s best not to spend too much time searching for it early on. Instead, progress through the game and keep an eye out for the key when you reach the Village Chief’s Manor.

Upon arriving at the Village Chief’s Manor, you’ll find a small cabinet in the corner next to a sofa to the right of the main table. The elusive small key you’ve been seeking rests on this cabinet. Armed with the key, you can return to the Village Square and unlock the mysterious drawer.
To reach the square, exit the Manor through the door to the right of the key and head towards the metal gate on your right, following the linear path leading back to the village.
As you enter the Village Square through the gate, proceed directly to the building depicted in the image below.
