Hogwarts Legacy is filled with strange and adventurous quests that take you all over Hogwarts. While many will lead you to hidden locations within or near the wizarding school, this particular quest takes you deep into the depths of the Forbidden Forest. Ghost of Our Love is one of Hogwarts Legacy’s sidequests where you are provided with a map with vague drawings, and you must figure out the location to complete the quest. Where is Ghost of Our Love’s Treasure Chest in Hogwarts Legacy?
The Ghost of Our Love’s treasure chest is located in the Forbidden Forest. To find it easily, head to the location in the image above and follow these steps:
- Fast travel to the entrance of the Forbidden Forest using your map. However, if you haven’t discovered it yet, you won’t be able to Fast Travel. In this case, walk the main route from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade. The Forbidden Forest entrance will be at the halfway point.
- Move towards the stone bridge shown on the map. It should be right next to Foo Flame. Cast your Lumos spell to illuminate your surroundings. If done correctly, you should see 3 floating candles in front of you.
- Next, follow the floating candles through the Forbidden Forest. These candles will ultimately lead you to the treasure chest’s location. Remember that the candles won’t move out of sight even if you stop moving, so be quick.
- By following the candles, you will arrive at a small elevation with 2 chairs and a table placed in the center. Beside them, a treasure chest will appear. That is the Ghost of Our Love’s treasure chest.
- Loot the chest completely to complete the sidequest. You will receive a Treasure-Seeker’s Scarf as a reward.

How To Unlock Ghost of Our Love Sidequest in Hogwarts Legacy?
If you’re having trouble finding the Ghost of Our Love side quest, chances are you haven’t progressed that far into the game yet. Ghost of Our Love is revealed to the player soon after they unlock Jackdaw’s Rest quest.
What is Jackdaw’s Rest Quest in Hogwarts Legacy?
Jackdaw’s Rest quest is a part of the main storyline and does not need any extra action to be unlocked. It is unlocked once you move past the Sorting Hat and receives your house calling. Each house receives a different quest through a messenger owl, but they all lead to the same place, so there is no need to be alarmed if yours isn’t the same as the rest.
Gryffindor players start The Hunt for the Missing Pages, Slytherins starts Scrope’s Last Hope, Ravenclaws starts Olivander’s Heirloom, while Hufflepuffs starts Prisoner’s of Love. Finishing each of these quests leads you to meet the ghost of Richard Jackdaw, who will assign you to Jackdaw’s Rest Quest. While doing this quest, you will encounter the treasure map for Ghost of Our Love’s quest, which you can start immediately.
