The Automatons are back for another tango on Claorell and Helldivers are ready to dance
Just when we thought we were out, they pull us back in again. Despite how it seemed just a day before, it now looks like the saga of Claorell is not over. The Automaton forces are massing for another offensive, with Helldivers already deployed on other fronts. Luckily, we had observant brothers-in-arms who reported on the new development.
Claorell, a planet so nice, it gets attacked twice
Claorell is going to be the hotbed of yet another bot attack. They just can’t let us have that damned forge, it seems. Terra854 on Reddit has spotted the incoming bot incursion, highlighting it for the other Helldivers to see and react in time. “We’re doing a sequel, we’re back by popular demand.” as Bebou52 points out.

As should be expected, our fellow Helldivers aren’t taking this news lying down. Most are more than ready to return and repel the bots a second time. “Hell Yeah, I love that map!” exclaimed Vegetable_Feeling202, with dozens of other divers agreeing that it’s not just about spreading democracy, but enjoying the sights while we’re there too.
Other players warn about diverting threats, like Damien_Sin who said: “Also don’t forget that once we defend Claorell, we will need to heavily push back against Vernen Wells. ‘Cause once they take it, the bots will be at the doorstep of our supply planet Tarsh.” That’s easier said than done, seeing how not everyone pays attention to the galactic war developments. Some Helldivers simply want to go to any ol’ planet that they feel like. Hopefully, there will be enough to push back the bots the second time around.
“The audacity of these automaton aberrants. They really miss their Forge World that just got liberated for super family values, huh? Too bad they’ll get a democratic riot for attempting to decline.” mused LF_Bon-stellaionWink in the same thread. And that is exactly how most of us feel as well. Now that the Automatons are knocking for a sequel at Claorell, it’s up to us to push them back and be home in time for liber-tea.
