The latest Major Order just dropped, and it will take a lot of effort to complete this one. Devoted Helldivers 2 players are already coming up with strategies that would help them cover both fronts for the Major Order and the completion of the DSS.
The Latest Major Order Might Be the Last One Before Helldivers Get the DSS
On November 11, the latest Major Order arrived. Joel gave players 5 days to complete the MO and secure the Democracy Space Station. The objective is to kill 500 million bugs in order to get enough fuel for the DSS and, at the same time, to keep Gaellivara under the Super Earth command.
As always, this Major Order arrived with a briefing. It explained how the E-710 was the only thing standing between Helldivers and the operational DSS. Furthermore, this briefing explained how important it was to fend off the Jet Brigade which would probably become the first target of the DSS.
The briefing stated: “Once online, the DSS will immediately connect to every Helldivers’ Super Destroyer. From their Galactic Maps, Helldivers will vote to move the station and donate resources to activate its Tactical Actions. We stand on the cusp of a new era of Freedom. Do not allow our enemies to steal the fruits of so much honorable sacrifice”.
Helldivers Will Divide Between the Fronts
As you may have expected, devoted Helldivers 2 players are more than ready to fight for the DSS in this Major Order. Even though some players have expressed doubts, the majority of players are more than happy to keep grinding for the Democracy Space Station.
Since both fronts will be active, players will probably have to make some tough calls during the duration of this MO. However, it’s important to start fearlessly. One player, Razing_Phoenix, cried out: “New MO dropped, let’s go out and kill 500 million bugs”.
Other players, like anotherlogintaken, suggested a more thought-out approach. This player noted: “It’s not only bugs that need killing. Jet Brigade gonna attack Tarsh and Lesath with the aim of DSS. Bugs can be killed between defenses, but we need to cripple bots before they reach DSS or even stop them”.
Many players agreed with this approach, after all, what good will all that fuel be if we lose the DSS? Spirited-Bison3260 noted: “I’m staying in the bot front and killing as many Jet Brigade I can until they find the DSS because if they find it and still have a heavy attack from the DSS is gone for good”.
This is another Major Order that will make bugdivers and botdivers cooperate. Honestly, with every new one, the players manage to surprise us with the way they can work together. So, which front will you join? We’re sure your help will be appreciated on either one. For Liberty and Super Earth.
