New Warbond Disappointed Helldivers 2 Fans After They Supported Its Release
New Helldivers 2 Warbond was released on May 8, after the Arrowhead CEO asked the community to decide whether to release it or not. Unfortunately, initial reactions from fans are far from positive, as players all over the world compare the stats of new items. Suffice it to say, many Helldivers 2 fans were disappointed with the newly released Wardbond after supporting it.
New Polar Patriots Warbond is Met With Initial Disappointment From Fans
Many fans took to Reddit, as soon as they checked out the new Warbond. We noticed that the main issue is that the weapons are underperforming, yet again. Looking at the stats, we get it. Fans expressed their disbelief, hoping that the rumors weren’t true. A user LucatIel_of_M1rrah wrote: ” After testing these stats are 100% accurate. The gun does the exact same damage and has the same breakpoints as the base Liberator.”
Some other issues were reported, as well. Supposedly you only get half the ammo back on a resupply. A user named geezlers made an accusation: ”It also carries 10 mags but resupply boxes only give you 5. Clear cut evidence that this gun is from a build that precedes their ammo rework where they made it so every primary gets full ammo back from one resupply box, meaning they didn’t even bother to test it recently.” WhiteSekiroBoy reports: ”I noticed no stun abilities for this AR [AR-61 Tenderizer].” Several members confirmed their claims.
Another user MayContainRelevance offers some ideas: ”Wish they would show more details like that in the game, even something like max magazine capacity would be handy. I would love to tinker with primaries but I don’t feel comfortable committing to a mission if the weapon is bad and makes me a dead weight.” We would be ecstatic to learn that the developers actually go through these comments. The fans can be extremely helpful.

Helldivers Hope For a Better Future
The early reviews show a huge disbelief among fans. We get it – after putting our trust in the balance team the results are underwhelming. Players’ expectations may have been raised by the positive gestures made by the CEO of Arrowhead. A question arises – was that gesture just a publicity stunt? The fans will have to wait until June 13, when the new Warbond is set to drop, and see for themselves. Hopefully, the balance teams will provide their fans with what they are all waiting for – some new and exciting buffs. Until then, we will give the new Warbond another chance.
