Now that its sequel has just been dished out, players can finally find out what happened to Jack after freeing Dharma Tower from the evils that grasped it. Also, the protagonist is now tasked to ward off an emerging threat alongside its horde of baddies. The rest of the game’s fandom is as of late exploring the world in and outside Dharma Tower. Can you play Ghostrunner 2 on Xbox?
Yes. You can play Ghostrunner 2 on Xbox’s current-generation consoles (Xbox Series X/S). Heading over to the Xbox Games Store, you’ll notice that all three versions of the game are posted there with its Brutal Edition having the steepest price. In case you’re wondering if the game is playable on the predecessors of Xbox Series X/S, we’re sorry to tell you that it isn’t.
What’s new with the sequel?
Per its game publisher 505 Games, Ghostrunner 2 will showcase an “expansive, complex, and immersive world.” The game’s progression system has been further improved. Players can freely explore various avenues on how to move up within the sequel.
A new dialogue system was also introduced where players can delve deeper into Ghostrunner’s lore. The returning protagonist can now mingle with non-playable characters (NPCs) within the game. A so-called “central HQ base of operations” was also added into the game where Jack can take a breather from all the AI chaos.
