You know you have a passionate community when they try to find ways to bring your game into real life. Cosplaying is the obvious way, but there’s also making art, props, and small items. No matter what, it’s always cool to see what fans can come up with. One Fortnite fan went ahead and recreated several Fortnite consumables and shared the results. Let’s take a look at what he has come up with and what it looks like.
Fortnite Fan Brings to Life In-Game Consumables
Fortnite fan Valleboi123 has shared with Reddit the creations that he and his brother made. They have used different receptacles and Gatorade flavours to recreate a few Fortnite consumables. Namely, they made a jar of Shield Potion and a bottle of Slap Juice.
The consumables look like uncanny versions from the game, colouring and all. You can practically feel the in-game effects when you look at them. Most of the Redditors seem to agree with this, wanting to recreate them for themselves.
Redditor FattestLion takes it a step further, suggesting “If there was a Fortnite cafe somewhere that served Fortnite consumables that would be fun”. Of course, others have brought attention to the fact that in Fortnite tradition, some of the consumables would have to be vaulted from time to time.
Other commenters have come up with ideas to bring several other Fortnite consumables to real life. The ice cream cones are obviously the easiest ones. Durrrburgers would take a little bit more work, but they could be recreated as well.
That makes us wonder – how many of Fortnite’s consumables could be viable to recreate like this? For example, how would you make Slurp Juice, with its odd texture? Or Guzzle Juice, reproducing that gradient of colour? If you plan on making some of them, let us know!
