Fortnite chapter 5 Season 2 is well underway, and you can now access a host of new quests and cosmetics with the arrival of Avatar Korra. The content is exclusive to the Battle Pass, which you can work through to pick up the Avatar’s outfit. However, this is much easier said than done. From collecting Mythic items to emerging from water, you’ll have your work cut out for you on your mission to unlock Korra’s look. How Do You Get Mythic Waterbending in Fortnite?
As promised by Epic Games, you can find Korra’s Mythic Waterbending Technique in the form of a scroll in Fortnite. The item can be found inside chests of all kinds throughout the map.
However, this isn’t your only option. You might also have some luck picking up the Mythic item as ground loot, encouraging players to explore new areas. It can be dropped by Supply Drones from Shadow Briefings, too, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. With all this in mind, you should be able to find the technique soon enough.
Mythic Waterbending Uses in Fortnite
With the Mythic Waterbending Technique, you’ll gain access to a couple of new abilities.
- Ice Projectiles — Like many Waterbenders in The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, you can use the Mythic Waterbending Technique to hurl icy projectiles at foes to deal huge damage. You’ll need to recharge every once in a while, which will leave you vulnerable to incoming attacks. Fortunately, its second use helps to make up for this shortcoming.
- Health Restoration — While you have this technique in your inventory, you can steadily restore up to 100 Health anytime you’re in the water. Of course, you’ll need to be in the right place at the right time to utilize it to its full effect, but it certainly comes in handy.
