Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 continues, and dedicated players are working to stay on top of weekly missions. Some tasks present more of a challenge than others, but there’s no denying regular events keep the game interesting and exciting as we move through the current season. Nearing the end of last week’s mission list, however, some players still have their hands tied with one mission that requires you to damage opponents with wasps.
Referred to as Wildwasps in the game, these hostile insects are new to Fortnite, having arrived in the Wilds location with the drop of Season 3. Like their real-life counterparts, these nasty bugs can deal some serious damage, but they’re most easily deterred with mud or water. To hone the power of Wildwasps and deal damage against your opponents in Fortnite, you’ll have to jar quite a few or otherwise obtain them. Here’s how it’s done.
How to Damage Opponents with Wildwasps in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3
One of the latest missions in Fortnite requires you to deal 100 damage against your opponents with the use of Wildwasps, which may be much easier said than done if you’re without a substantial supply of these aggressive insects. To deal enough damage, you’ll have to collect as many jars of Wildwasps as you can with six jars to a stack, filling each jar to the brim. With a solid store, the mission is simple: target your enemy and fire away until you’ve dealt at least 100 damage.
If you’re having trouble collecting enough wasps, no worries. Wildwasp jars can sometimes be found on the ground, or you can redeem the Wild Wasp Throwing Projectile upgrade to receive some wasp jars plus an additional jar with each elimination.
Where to Find Wildwasps in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3
As stated by the Fortnite team, Wildwasps inhabit the jungle biome. While these winged beasts can be found buzzing about, they’re easiest to find in areas where jungle plants are located. They’re known to swarm certain species, so keep an eye out for flowers and vegetation commonly found in the jungle biome to locate Wildwasps. Be sure to jar as many as you can to complete the mission before it ends.
