This year’s Fortnitemares brings us a ton of content, with game modes, cosmetics, collectibles, and, of course, new weapons. As we are getting ready to fight off vampires and zombies, let’s check out the weapons of Fortnitemares 2023.
Fortnitemares is a seasonal event in Fortnite, revolving around Halloween. Live from October 10 until the end of the month, players have a chance to get their hands on some awesome loot, and spooky Outfits, finish new Quests, and get Rewards. Of course, what is an event without some new weapons?
New And Returning Weapons In Fortnitemares 2023
Fortnitemares 2023 added and un-vaulted a total of four different weapons, so let’s see that they are:
Wood Stake Shotgun
This is a new addition to Fortnite, it’s a shotgun that uses stakes instead of shells. Most effective in close range (ideally, against vampires), but it has a slower reload than the current meta favorites Heisted Accelerant Shotgun or the Sharp Tooth Shotgun. You can find it on the ground and in Chests and Holo-Chests.
Thorne’s Vampiric Blade
This is an updated version of the well-known Kinetic Blade from Chapter 4 Season 2. Designed for the Vampire Kado Thorne, it siphons health when damaging enemies. To get it, you must first defeat Kado Thorne. He can be found inside the vault in Eclipsed Estate.
Pumpkin Launcher
Love it or hate it, it’s back. An infamous reskin of the Rocket Launcher, Pumpkin Launcher is a Fortnitemares staple. As before, you can find it on the ground, in Chests, Holo-Chests, and Flying Drones. You can also take it from eliminated opponents.
Witch Broom
Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble. The Witch Broom is once again with us. Not a weapon per se but another infamous piece, it launches you into the air after which you can activate your Glider and fly away. It can be found on the ground and in Chests (but not Holo-Chests)
