Fans Share Their Crazy Yet Effective Ways to Take Out the Bus Convoy in Fortnite

Taking out the Wasteland Warriors Battle Bus convoys can be tough for a lot of players. They are heavily protected and always on the move. Let’s not forget that other Fortnite players are probably trying to do the same thing. You usually have to find a ride of your own to intercept it, so it all comes down to a high-speed chase, Mad Max-style. But, some Fortnite players have reached out to share their favorite, most effective, and craziest ways to take out the Bus convoy and the Wasteland Warriors boss in one fell swoop. 

One Player’s Clever Way of Dealing With Megalo-Don

One player, Radioactive_IceCubes, shared a clip demonstrating the fastest way of dealing with Megalo Don’s convoy. It boils down to jumping on the hood of the Battle Bus, breaking the front window, and shooting the driver in the face. Once he’s gone, take over the vehicle, and use the bus’ EMP (Horn Honk button) to disable the boss’ car. That will force them (Medalo Don, in this case) to exit the vehicle, and then they are at your mercy. 

Quite an effective method, if there ever was one!

Fans Praise the Player’s Ingenuity and Offer Their Own Advice

Other players were genuinely impressed by Radoiactive_IceCubes’ method. Another player, named RalphFTW, shared another way to do it: “From the drop, Land on the bus roof. Axe the front shooter, got to make sure you position yourself right before you swing. Use the cannon, shoot the back guy. Shoot megaldons car till he jumps out, shoot him a couple of times. Drive his car away from the buss so he chases, fire the the grenades at him. Collect loot 🙂 works 90% for me.”

Some players say that you can use the terrain to your advantage to make the Bus glitch a little bit, like  Relative-Anywhere offering: “I got stuck in the basement of a building with the bus on top of me just stuck in the hole it created, so I just pickaxed it and got rid of the guys that came with it”

The community went crazy about this, praising the player. Comments like “Bruh, you didn’t kill him, you destroyed him!” and “Why am I only finding this out now?”. Standard-Tourist-275 added: “didn’t even know you could kill the bus driver like that. This is super useful ty” and he’s not the only one.

Other Players May Rain On Your Parade

Naturally, all of this is way tougher to pull off if other players are there to ruin our day. Like lotti_luv said: ”Then you get killed by a rat watching and waiting for you to do all the work.” More players chime in, with: “9/10 by the time I reach the ground somebody has already killed Megalo Don” or “Id love to try this if the entire lobby didn’t land on a boss convoy“

Some players are quite skeptical about the whole thing, like F19xDustin, commenting: “This is assuming you land somewhere and immediately find a nitro splash and a weapon, get to the convoy before anybody else, AND nobody tries to come in and third party you. Oh and you had shields so you also found those before making your way over. “

In summary, the methods these players offered are arguably the fastest and most effective, however, they do require some setup, and a bit of luck (usually in the form of other players’ absence).
