Redfall is the new game from Arkane, the studio that brought delights like Deathloop and Dishonored. Arkane is well known for their single-player experiences, but what of multiplayer? One question on gamers’ minds is, does Redfall have co-op?
Is Redfall Co-Op Multiplayer?
Redfall does have co-op multiplayer. You can play with three friends while exploring Redfall together, exterminating vampires, and acquiring loot in the open world. If you want, you can play with only two people and be the same character if you wish. But I advise you to crank up the difficulty level!
However, it’s a good reminder to know that no co-op saved progression exists. So only the host will have campaign missions saved. But other players will keep their character levels and loot.
Can I Play Redfall Solo?
Yes, Redfall can be played as a completely solo experience. Everything in Redfall, in my opinion, is made for a single player. Some missions can be done in a matter of 30 seconds, so why do three extra people helping you? It’s really bizarre.

The only thing I’ve noticed is that one Safe House mission, in particular, is challenging to do solo. However, even if you fail, you just need to kill a vampire that spawns, which is easier than the first step of the mission, so I say let it fail!
Does Redfall Have PvP?
Redfall does not have PvP in any way, shape, or form. It’s a co-op experience with friends, so there is no need to have PvP combat as well. It wouldn’t match the setting or the mechanics of Redfall.
Does Redfall Have Couch Co-Op?
Sadly, Redfall does not have couch co-op, which means that all your friends you want to join must play the game on separate devices. What Redfall does have is cross-play. So PC players playing Redfall on Steam can play with Xbox players playing on Xbox Game Pass, and so forth. There are no limitations here.
Does Redfall Have a Campaign?
Yes, Redfall does have a campaign. The campaign is set over two different regions of the game, with about ten or so main missions in every area. However, there is a lot of exploration to do to find Grave Locks, complete Nests, and side missions.
Does Redfall Have a Single Player Campaign?
Redfall does have a single player campaign that you can play solo. However, there is no difference to the campaign if you are playing solo or with friends co-op. Multiplayer is essentially playing the single player campaign but with friends.
Is Redfall Split Screen?
Redfall is not split-screen. So gamers hoping to have three friends over and revel in the atmosphere sadly cannot do so. Each player must have their own device. This does not mean you can’t have friends over, but you need four of everything, four TVs, four PC/Xbox, and four times the food and drink!
