Amidst all the chaos with the new mechanics and Helltides, a simple story quest emerges from time to time. In this article, you will see how you can help the Iron Wolves by doing the Wooden Wolf Quest in Diablo 4 Season 4.
Season 4 brought a lot of improvements to Diablo 4. It overhauled the loot system and introduced Tempering and Masterwotking, new loot-related mechanics. And as every Season before it, it has its own storyline and Battle Pass. Parts of the story concern Iron Wolves, a mercenary group first introduced in Diablo 2. One of the quests revolves around their missing comrades, so read this article to see how to do the Wooden Wolf Quest in Diablo 4 Season 4.
How to Do the Wooden Wolf Quest in Diablo 4 Season 4
Wooden Wolf is one of the first quests concerning Iron Wolves. It is a simple exploration quest with a little fighting involved. For starters, you have to achieve Wolf’s Honor Rank 1. You can do so by completing objectives and participating in Helltides. Once you do so, speak to Soudeh the Anvil, located in the Iron Wolves Encampment. She will direct you to go to Ked Bardu and look for a missing caravan.
Locate the Missing Caravan
An area where to look will be shown on your minimap, it is located in the northeast part of Ked Bardu. There you will find a group of cultists, guarding a recently pillaged caravan. Once you deal with them, you have to do some investigating and look for clues. There are four clues that you have to interact with, all located near the caravan itself:
- Defaced Medallion
- Hand-Carved Toy
- An Unsent Letter
- Corpse of an Iron Wolf
Once you do so, you will have to find the Cultist Den to progress the quest.
Enter the Cultist Den
The Cultist Den is located near the caravan, to the southeast. You will see its location on your minimap. Enter the Den and you will find some Cultists near a sacrificial circle. Once you dispatch them, look around for more clues. There are five clues nearby that you need to find.
- A Letter Home
- Caravan Route Map
- Sacrificed Iron Wolf
- Cultist’s Sketch
- Ritual Blade
Once you have interacted with all of them, head back to the Iron Wolves Encampment to report your findings to Soudeh the Anvil. That will complete the Wooden Wolf quest.
