Diablo 4 Open Beta Preparation Guide
The Diablo 4 Open beta is almost here, and players couldn’t be more excited. Players have had to wait almost a decade to get their hands on more Diablo content, and the beta test is the perfect way for players to do so without waiting for the June 6 release date.
Still, you’ll have to know what you’re signing up for. With two weekends of the beta, one open and one closed, you will have to know how to be ready for each.

When Are the Open Beta Weekends for Diablo IV?
Here are the start times:
- The Early Access Open Beta will occur from 9am PDT on March 17 to 12pm PDT on March 20.
- The Open Beta will occur from 9am PDT on March 24 to 12pm PDT on March 27.
How do I get access to the Open Beta for Diablo IV?
To access the Early Access Open Beta, you must preorder a copy of Diablo 4. The beta is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, so a preorder on any console will give you access to its respective beta.
The Open Beta is available to all players. The only requirements are that you download the beta from its respective game store and that you have a Battle.net account.

- Launch the Xbox Store
- Search for Diablo IV-Open Beta
- Select Download
How to Download the Diablo IV Open Beta on PlayStation
- Launch the PlayStation Store
- Search for Diablo IV Open Beta
- Select Download
How to Download the Diablo IV Open Beta on PC
- Launch the Battle.net client
- Click the + icon to add Diablo IV to your Favorites bar
- You can also find Diablo IV by clicking the All Games page
- Once on the Diablo IV page, click Install
- The game will install as soon as it is available.
When Can I Download the Diablo IV Open Beta?
The Early Access Open Beta can be downloaded at 9am PDT on Wednesday, March 15.
The Open Beta can be downloaded at 9am PDT on Wednesday, March 22. If you had previously played in the Early Access Open Beta, you would not have to download it again.
