After a long day, there is nothing better than coming home and having some downtime. Depending on where you live, you’ll have different possibilities available. But, have you ever wondered where you’d like to live if you could pick a location from a game? Well, Destiny 2 players did just that and imagined which in-game places would make a good home.
Which Places Could Be a Great Home?
The players were quick to share their favorite places throughout the Destiny 2 universe. There were several places that were mentioned a lot, as it seems the players really grew to love them.
MarsTheBug05 noted: “EDZ, I have a little spot where I actually sit sometimes just to look at the scenery. Near one of the cave runs near the fishing area”. EDZ was a popular choice among many players. NachtigallenBomber added their favorite spot: “Just chillin’ on the Hill by the shore. But my chillin’ spot is in the Salzwerk”.
Now, many players hoped the places from the first installment of Destiny were also included. Yes, Venus, of course. BouncyKing said: “Assuming I’m my Guardian (Hunter) I’d live/be most likely to be found either in the EDZ or Venus”. NeedsLovings agreed: “As a fellow Hunter, Venus would be pretty cool. Make a camp in some ruins, and just be chilling solo. Peak Hunter life right there”.
Several hundred players agreed that Venus would be a perfect place for a home. We’d have to agree with them, as the scenery there is just amazing. All the foliage and the landscapes paint a wonderful picture. truth be told, we are quite nostalgic when it comes to Venus.
Back in Destiny 2, another good contender is Nessus. Casper_Von_Ghoul stated: “But let’s say I’m my guardian, I’d probably lean towards the Moon or Nessus cause I like the views and looks”. Almost 400 players agreed with this Redditor and raved about Nessus.
Destiny 2 Players Agree on One Place They’d Gladly Call Home
Among all of these wonderful places in Destiny 2, there was only one place that seemingly every player would call a home. More than 1,1k players approved this place as their first pick. Do you know which one?
If you said Last City, you are 100% correct. First and foremost, it was picked for its safety. Knightlight–01 stated: “Last city. Everywhere else has a chance of you getting no diffed by a red bar”. Goose-Suit added: “I love the architecture of the Last City. I really appreciate it during the buy rounds of Onslaught. It’s such an awesome combination of different styles that just works”.
Would you agree with this pick, or do you have another favorite? For us it is, and always will be, Venus. There is just something extremely tempting and nostalgic about that place. We’d gladly bring all of our friends, no matter their titles, back to Venus.
