Darkest Dungeon 2 is on the way, bringing with it a change to full 3D and a new world-traveling mechanic that seeks to add more depth to the roguelike aspect of its predecessor. Fans of the game are ecstatic, ready to die over and over again, but this time in the 3rd dimension!

Technically, yes. Darkest Dungeon 2 is still available to play in early access, at least until the full game releases. The game has been available in early access since October 2021 and has seen consistent updates the entire time. Players willing to pay for the title can experience the game and all the updates it has seen before the full release.
