Wondering how to make glass in Coral Island? No problem. We’ll go over how you can create this crafting material yourself and detail additional ways to pocket a solid supply.
In Coral Island, you’re tasked with curating your farm and raising Starlet Town’s rating after the tropical locale suffered a devastating oil spill. Needless to say, you’ll need a solid supply of materials to get the job done. Glass is one of many crafting ingredients that you can acquire from the start of your playthrough. This material is needed to build several items you’ll need down the line, including insect traps, mason jars, and an oil press. Because of this, you’ll want to make sure you have enough of this resource on hand to finish projects as soon as possible. Here’s how to get glass easily in Coral Island.

How to Get Glass in Coral Island
There are a couple of different ways that you can go about getting glass in Coral Island. This includes the following methods:
- Heat stone or scrap in a Kiln
- Break down trash deposits
Using a Kiln
If you’ve made a solid amount of progress in Coral Island, you shouldn’t have too much trouble accessing a kiln. This piece of equipment can be crafted once you’ve reached Level 2 in your Foraging Skills. To make one, you’ll just need x25 stone and x20 Bronze ore.
Once crafted, you can place this item outside your house to create new resources, namely coal and glass. I recommend crafting yourself a kiln as soon as you’re able, as this is the best way to process large quantities of glass at once. To make glass, you’ll just need stone or scrap, both of which can be collected from your field.
Breaking Down Trash
You probably collected a good bit of glass when you were first tasked with clearing your field at the start of your Coral Island playthrough. Whether you kept this resource or not probably depends on the pocket space you had. If you’re like me, then you simply sold what you had via the shipping bin to make space in your inventory. Fortunately, glass is a relatively common drop from clearing trash deposits with your scythe, so you can easily collect more if you’re fresh out.
The best way to do this is to go diving. As you work to find and activate solar orbs, you’ll need to clear huge amounts of trash, anyway. By doing this, you’ll likely pocket enough to top off your supply of glass. Two birds, one stone.
