More bad news for the devoted Call of Duty fans. Ever since Black Ops 6 launched, players have been reporting glitches, but it seems that there are more new ones after every update. The community openly discusses how disappointing it is to face new bugs with every new patch. Have you faced any new issues lately?
Every New Update Brings More Glitches
On November 21, following an update, players noticed that there were some major problems with the game. Now, sure, this is understandable, however, players insist that this keeps happening over and over again for an unknown reason.
One player, elisaron, noted: “If you guys missed it the newest patch had some unintended side effects: all our medal collections got wiped, Zombie intel got wiped, Loadouts were wiped, Zombies saves were deleted. I find these side effects of intending to FIX THE GAME to be frankly unbelievable. Every patch we get introduces more and more annoyances that end up leaving the game worse off than it was before the game was patched”.
Another player, marponsa, stated: “Treyarch, you guys really need to hire more people for your quality assurance department. Every update we get is one step forward with a few changes. But, then you f**k up so much stuff it feels like we would’ve been better off without the update. All medals and savegames being reset for everyone should’ve been caught during quality checks, this is actually insane”.
Black Ops 6 Developers Are Working on a Fix
We’d like to start by sharing our experience. There were more glitches introduced with almost every new Black Ops 6 update. However, even though the problem hasn’t been fixed for all players, we have to commend the devs for reacting quickly and issuing a fix.
The official Call of Duty Updates account on X shared an announcement. It read: “We have released a fix to address some profile data and Solo save issues, and are planning a future restoration pass for users who fall under specific criteria”. You can find the details here.
Sure, there have been many issues with the game, but it’s encouraging to see the devs taking steps. Some problems were fixed in a timely fashion. Hopefully, they’ll also address the issues in Season 1 Ranked soon. Until they do, good luck and see you out there.
