As always, a new Season brought some new weapons, some new maps, and some new bundles. Since the Preseason had a rough start, players were maybe a bit more cautious and pessimistic about the start of Season 1. So, it doesn’t surprise us that the unusual Draconic Forge Mastercraft bundle didn’t receive a lot of praise from Black Ops 6 players. However, different players have different tastes, so one YouTuber bravely offered a different point of view.
What Can You Expect From the Draconic Forge Mastercraft Bundle?
Let’s start at the beginning. The Draconinc Forge Mastercraft bundle consists of nine items in total, the Mecha-Drake SAUG Blueprint, the Dragon Knight skin, the Emberscald ASG-89 Blueprint, the Siege Drill skin, the Dragon Breath emote, the Ash and Bone finishing move, a Draconic Reticle, the So Metal emblem, and the Reforger Spray. This bundle costs 3000 CoD points, approximately $30.
This time, one YouTuber, Fili Zi, was playing the devil’s advocate. They noted: “Do I think this bundle is worth it for myself? Hell, yes! Not only is this operator bada**, but the weapon that you get, the actual ultra one is really cool”. You can see the full review below or here.
Now it’s worth mentioning that this YouTuber mostly plays Zombies, so the huge green Dragon Knight skin doesn’t really give them a disadvantage as it would in the Multiplayer. However, many players wholeheartedly disagreed.
Black Ops 6 Aren’t Fans of the Green Draconic Skin
The majority of Black Ops 6 players who bought the Draconic Forge Mastercraft bundle had some issues with it. Most of all, with the “horrifying” green Dragon Knight skin. Social media is overflowing with negative reviews and complaints.
One player, valayavr, noted: “Thanks for this skin. It is so giant and has so many particle effects that I can’t even see its head, and cuts my frames in half. Masterful move Treyarch”. Another player, ender2851, added: “In Stakeout if that skin is the lead running down the hallway, you basically have a line of blind people to mow down. Got back-to-back fury kills from the same idiot”.
Icy-Computer7556 stated: “People buy expensive skins and cry about s**tty servers and hit detection, and yet they will shovel their f**king money into this game. I don’t even wanna hear “but it helps make DLC free”, but does it make the DLC actually good? Not necessarily. In fact, paid DLC was a far better incentive for developers to offer a quality product, and now it doesn’t even matter”.
