Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Release Date and Time and Preload Information

The newest Avatar game is right around the corner. Let’s see when is the release date for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. 

The Avatar franchise is getting a second video game, the first being Avatar: The Game from 2009. After 14 years, developers Massive and Lightstorm Entertainment are giving us a sequel, called Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It is an open-world first-person action-adventure game set in the Western Frontier of the planet Pandora. You take control of a Na’vi orphan on its journey to discover its origins and fight back against the forces of the Resources Development Administration (RDA). The storyline is loosely based on the films. Also, you can play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora as a 2-player cooperative multiplayer.

All of this sounds very exciting, so when can we expect the release of the game?

Release Date and Time for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

The official release date for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is December 7, 2023. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. 

For consoles, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora releases at midnight on December 7, local time. For PC users, those using Amazon Luna or Epic Games will get access at 5am GMT on December 7. Players using Ubisoft Connect will get access at 11pm GMT/9pm PT on December 6, 2023.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Preload

The latest Avatar game will be available for preload on December 5. You have to prepare around 90GB for it. The specific date and time of the preload is:

• Playstation: midnight local time
• Xbox: 7am GMT/8am CEST/2am ET
• PC: 1pm GMT/2pm CEST/8am ET

As with many modern games, this download size may increase with time as more content and DLCs are added. The official website states that the Day 1 patch is mandatory to start playing the game, therefore you need an internet connection to download it. Once done, you will be able to play the game offline.
