All Trophy Hunt Event Challenges and Rewards in MW2 & Warzone 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 is here, and with it comes a whole host of new content. From game modes to new guns to balance changes, this patch is full of new things to try. However, what many players are most curious about is the new Trophy Hunt event.

The Trophy Hunt event allows players to pick up trophies from fallen foes across a variety of different game modes. These trophies can be redeemed for numerous prizes, ranging from emblems and calling cards to weapons blueprints.

This guide will walk players through how they can earn trophies and on what prizes they can spend them.

How Do You Earn Trophies in the MW2 Trophy Hunt Event?

Trophies can be earned through different methods in all the major game modes, as shown below.

MW2 Multiplayer

Defeat enemy players and pick up their trophies to bank them, similar to a dog tag
In round-based modes, trophies will be automatically banked for each unique defeated operator at round end

Warzone 2

Defeat enemy Operators
Defeat AI enemies
Find trophies as loot
Win the match, or deposit the trophies at a buy station
All unbanked trophies are lost on death, so depositing them at a buy station is recommended

Warzone 2 DMZ

Defeat enemy Operators
Defeat AI enemies
Find trophies as loot
Successfully extract, or deposit the trophies at an upload station
All unbanked trophies are lost on death, so depositing them at an upload station is recommended

What Are the Rewards for the Trophy Hunt in MW2 & Warzone 2?

Trophies can be redeemed for individual rewards, as show in the list below:

15 Trophies
- Spade Sunset Emblem
- Enhanced Vision Calling Card
30 Trophies
- Valeria’s Stare Loading Screen
- Bleed Out Weapon Sticker
- A Plan Forms Loading Screen
- Trophy Hunter Charm
- Double Battle Pass XP Token
- One Battle Pass Tier Skip
- Mud Skirt Vehicle Skin
60 Trophies
- Track and Kill Gun Screen
150 Trophies
- Venom Strike M13B Weapon Blueprint
1000 Trophies
- Trophy Hunt Master Calling Card

Additional rewards will also be added on April 26.

For those that devote themselves to the hunt, there are also completionist rewards. Players who redeem 10 items will receive the PsyOp Roze skin, and players who redeem 15 items will receive the Arachnid Konig skin.

How Long Do I Have To Collect and Spend My Trophies in MW2?

The event ends when Season 3 Reloaded arrives. While we don’t have an exact date yet, the estimate is that it will arrive around May 12. Trophies will automatically be converted into XP when Season 3 reloaded arrives, so players will need to be sure to spend them beforehand.

This should be all players need to get onto the battlefield and get hunting. DMZ seems like the easiest game mode to collect the trophies in, as a player can quickly defeat AI and move to the nearest extraction, but players may want to be careful with early patch bugs.
