To get into the Frostpunk 2 Beta you will have to purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game. This means that you will have to commit to the Deluxe price early to play the game in Beta. Unfortunately, everyone who wants to test the game before purchasing is out of luck. Nevertheless, if you are a fan of the original game and have already decided to buy the game in full, it will be nice to playtest the game for seven days before the release.
When is Frostpunk 2 Beta?
The Beta is scheduled to last for seven days, starting on April 15 and ending on April 22, 2024. Everyone who has purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game will be able to play the moment it starts in your time zone. The official launch times across different zones for the Beta are:
- Central Europe: April 15, 7 pm CEST
- East Coast USA: April 15, 1 pm EDT
- West Coast USA: April 15, 10 am PDT
What Platforms can you play the Frostpunk 2 Beta on?
Frostpunk 2 Beta is only available on PC to players who Pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game. Sadly, this means that console owners will have to wait for the full release of the game to play it. Although the Beta is PC exclusive, once the game is released it will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
