Is Fortnite Festival Permanent? Festival End Date

Harmonix has teamed up with Epic Games to bring us Fortnite Festival, but is it a permanent addition? Let’s find out.

Fortnite has finally reached its Chapter 5, and we got some new and awesome game modes with it. The creative LEGO mode, the music-based Festival mode, and Rocket Racing, for the speed lovers among us. This is a huge step away from the regular Battle Royale, and the fans are loving it. But will these game modes be with us only for a while, or are they permanent? Today we will talk about Fortnite Festival, is it permanent, or is there an end date? Let’s see.

Is Fortnite Festival Here to Stay?

Everything points towards Fortnite Festival being a permanent addition. Fortnite Festival is a new game mode for Fortnite, much like Guitar Hero or Rock Star. It has proved to be very popular with the fans so now everyone is asking will Fortnite Festival be gone after a while or if is it here to stay. With a line-up and a huge tracklist that it has, it would be quite a weird move if Epic decided to remove it. Will Epic give us an official answer?

Official Confirmation

On December 11, we got an official confirmation on Fortnite’s Twitter. They stated that Fortnite Festival is a brand-new game and not a Limited Time Mode (LTM). They concluded with “Fear not! LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival are here to stay – with regular updates.” We can all breathe a sigh of relief. These new game modes took the gaming scene by storm, and fans everywhere comment that they even like them more than Battle Royale. With successes like these in Chapter 5 Season 1, who knows what awaits us in Season 2?
