Pure PlayStation: If you like RTS games or tabletop war simulators, you'll probably find something to like in League of War: VR Arena. It's a cool use of the VR tech and fans of the League of War mobile games will love it. However, the never expanding gameplay and the lack of online multiplayer will undoubtedly leave casual fans, or those looking for an in-depth strategy game, wanting more.
League of War: VR Arena is a sloppily made RTS that suffers from bad mechanics, poor controls, extremely unlikable characters, and an unbalanced local competitive mode.
Most embarrassing thing is that this was shown on PGW. Kinda makes me feel bad for the devs, to be honest. Then again, the trailer looked pretty boring, so I guess this was to be expected.

Commanding an army of toy soldiers, tanks, and helicopters sounds like a solid premise for a competitive real-time strategy game. However, does League of War: VR Arena manage to make its innovative core gameplay worthwhile?
