Sony Steals Back Momentum With Latest PS4 Exclusives

Heading into E3, it seemed liked Microsoft had all the momentum. And while the 2015 holiday season is troublesome, PlayStation 4 should soar in 2016.

P.S. I'm against game reviews personally simply because reviewers don't always like the genre of the game they are playing. I.E. Someone who is mostly about sports/racing may not view a RPG the way RPG fans view RPG's.

So Scalebound, Crackdown, Quantum Break, Sea of Thieves, Gears of War 4, Recore, all REAL exclusive on XB1 that are scheduled to be released in 2016 are less impressive than a list consisting of 2 multiplat in No Man's Sky, SFV, a small FTP top down shooter in Kill strain, a Jap niche RPG that was just announced and is like 3 years away from release? OK...:/

Sure Uncharted 4 and Horizon looks impressive but so are Quantum Break and Gears 4 on XB1 in 2016.

Just like rookie and Aussie above have just done. They're defenders on both sides not just ps4 but to say you can't trust sites with Console names when you know he would be all over an xbox version of this.

Well this is a site for gamers to gather news so considering ps4 has a huge advantage in units sold, I think it's safe to say that it's not surprising to find the majority of fans on a site prefer the ps4. It's just a numbers game.

It's also fact xbox1 fans downplay anything playstation related. For example Aussie has been going around since e3 downplaying horizon. Saying sea of theives is a better game. I'm not saying ps4 fans don't do that sort of stuff but it's just childish to act as if it's only them.

I've seen just as many articles about how xbox won e3 and how Sony have no games while xbox has them all. And like I said, there's downplaying going on left right and centre. Ori (which I loved) is heralded as an amazing game for xbox this year despite being multiplat. But street fighter 5 doesn't count because its going to pc as well. Just a sample of the nonsense being thrown around here. I'm not going to tell you you're wrong and that there isn't a lot of downplaying by ps fans, because there is. But it is also very true that xbox fans have been moving the goal posts ALOT this gen.

Now while I've enjoyed our little back and forth, as you can see, I'm out of bubbles. I'll leave you with a bid of fare well. Enjoy your games :)

Who Cares?

As of 2015 I own all 3 consoles and they are all shiny and sparkly.

I guess it's down to personal taste so I can understand what all the bile and vitriol is all about and since most posters are teenagers who are at the stage where they think they are right about everything especially their opinions on games and technology.

As we know they know nothing. LOL

I personally hate Japanese style games, so I have tended to avoid a lot of the stuff from Sony and that showed in my delay in getting a PS4.

I love my shooters, racers, puzzlers and platform romps so I tended to stick with WiiU and Xbox One.

After seeing all the games at E3, I found most of the games for X1 in 2015 / 16 right up my street and I know I'll probably get most of them (When I'll have time to play them is another matter though).

For PS4 though the robot giraffe game looks like a right laugh. Dreams on PS4 looked a bit duff so thats a no for me but No Man's Sky looks the business and so does uncharted 4 for
2016. However Guardians and FF7 can kiss my hole. I'm sure a bunch of fans will burn me on that one but thats tough, I don't want them and thats my right as a selfish gamer.

Next year looks great for all consoles so, everyone can relax, take a deep breath and stop moaning over things they have no control over

The awards mean nothing when majority of the industry editors are Sony fans, aka the people who report gaming news from every major gaming website are Sony fans. After Sony fans, they are Microsoft fans, but even with all the awards they give to Sony, also know as free promotion, it still do not mean anything. 3rd party games still the number 1 sellers on Playstation and Microsoft consoles, putting sony and microsoft 1st party games at the end of a top 10 best selling list. There are 3 Uncharted games on ps3 and 2 on the Vita, if you add all the total sales up it still it can not pass the sales of a 3rd Party game from a main series from any top of the line 3rd party company, but yet, everyone here say they support Sony, #NumbersDoNotLie #PopleDoEspeciallySonyFans. The point is how is Uncharted the greatest game, when it cannot pull in more sales. I bet the response will bring up Justin Bieber selling a lot, but it does not mean he a good artist. I am not talking about that, Nintendo Wii sold good because of word of mouth and it bringing something new to the living room, am I right? so if these Uncharted games were so legendary how come word of mouth did not help improve the sales, do people not recommend the game at all? well I do not like Uncharted myself so I am one of those that do not recommend it, but I do recommend Motorstorm

This is why I say awards mean nothing especially if its given by videogame editors online, majority of them is bias for their love of Sony, and its good thing a majority of game owners do not listen to them or Mario Kart Wii would not of sold 32 million before it got bundle, or any other game that was decent but did not get a high rating.

The greatest is a very subjective statement, yes. But knowing that TLoU now has the most GOTY awards, a 95 on metacritic with around 100 critics, many more awards, and is considered by basically every single gaming website as one of the greatest games ever made, you can safely consider that TLoU is one of the greatest games ever made if not the greatest. And knowing that Uncharted 4 is being made by a lot of the same people in ND. I could only assume that they are aiming even higher than before especially with the power of the PS4 (compared to PS3).

With the above I feel safe to assume Uncharted 4 will be one of the greatest games of this generation.

That spin! there are no rumors, it is just people from Neogaf making speculation because that is what make people happy. LoL. The only game that came true is the FTP games in Fable Legends, Killer Instinct, and a GEARS 1 remaster that had already been on PC before and smaller digital games like Ori and State of Decay. And the only Halo you will be seeing on PC is Spartan Assault.

There is a reason why there is streaming to Windows 10 PC with a XB1 made available to let gamers play their Halo 5 on their laptop in bed streaming from a XB1 downstair. :)

I listed MLB The Show because it comes out every spring and I listed GT7 because it usually comes out every 3 years.

With that being said we still don't know what year Dreams is coming out. We still don't know what games a lot of Sony's other studios are working on for 2017 and we still haven't even gotten God of War 3 Remastered, Tearaway, Persona 5, Until Dawn or The Uncharted collection this year yet.

PS4's line up is f*cking killer and that's putting it lightly.

I believe that all this arguing over which system has the best library of games is pointless. Like you said its all down to personal preference which is something that every gamer has a right to have. However what I don't support is when people try to force others to change theirs. That to me is the most horrible thing that you can do to someone. I'm not saying that you do this but there are plenty of people on N4G who try though.

What every gamer should do is ignore the preferences of others and just play the games that they enjoy the most.

This is hilarious, it is ALL PERSONAL PREFERNCE. No one can talk for every gamer and say one has the better line up. It's that simple.

MS have Halo, Forza and Fable this holiday, yet there are honest people who are more excited about a random indie on the PS4. The problem with this? NOTHING because as gamers we have choice. Neither it right or wrong.

So make all your one sided lists to try and justify your purchase instead of enjoying the games you like and respecting the games others like. That's how a child's mindset works yes?

The lists displayed by certain XBOX fanboys in this article are beyond laughable and I am sure you can go to a XONE article and see the reverse but I am only going to comment on this article.
If you wish to make a list in a failed attempt to downplay the competitor, make it fact based and complete. Otherwise you instantly enter child fanboy trolling territory, which sadly, seems to be the most populated space for gamers at the moment. It reeks of insecurity, desperation and disappointment of the console you decided to purchase but need to defend it too the end instead of accepting the reality of preference and great games exclusive on both platforms, or I don't know shut the f**** up and enjoy the games you like and leave the rest! By attempting to downplay the games you have no interest in/don't like etc etc does not make the ones you like any better! You do know that right? Sad sad kids.

The Last Guardian ( Could be a classic or all the hype could ruin it)
