I liked the prior one's better, but I:SS was a heck of a lot of fun. Fast paced and rock solid on a technical level. Getting First Light free through PS+ was just a bonus IMO, and I thought it was actually more fun, but the prior Infamous games were still better overall.

I don't think it was underrated, it just kind of went under the radar after launch.

Personally, games are the reason I buy any game console. I could list you 10 "reasons" to buy a Wii U, for example, and said reasons would be... games.

I don't have a problem with the article as such, the title is really misleading. I mean I'm considering buying a PS4 and it's not because of the aforementioned games, since the only game I will probably buy from the above list will be Resogun. I'm considering it for just 2 games- Horizon and Spiderman (I know it is ridiculous to spend 400 plus the cost of the games for just 2 games, but still).

But if I am to consider buying a PS4 over say Wii U (I have a PC, so no worries about Xbox Exclusives lol), then I would like to know what else is there that the console offers other than the two limited games I want. I don't want my PS4 to be all dusty apart from when I am playing those two games. I would like to know why PSN is better than Xbox Live, I would also like to know some of the other intricate details that are only observed by regular users. I'm not going to just go to a shop and tell the guy I want a PS4 and then 2-3 years down the line I realize I wasted that much money just for 2 games. If I am to only go according to games, I'm going for the NX, never had a Nintendo console except for the GBA and Zelda looks just too sweet to miss out(Those physics and that gameplay *Drooling*) and other than that, there is Mario Maker and Splatoon, I just can't get over Splatoon (One of my friend's has a Wii U and a few months ago I tried Splatoon, just loved the game). So it is a tough competition between PS4 and NX for me and I want to know which console eo-system, community, service is better.

I would have given him slack if the article even remotely related to the topic he is writing on. The guy has clearly mentioned 8 reasons to buy a PS4, and it should contain at least some features that PS has and others don't apart from the exclusives.

@TheOpimist...that's why there's a difference between the core gamers and the masses. Core gamers are more willing to look up specs, infrastructure, ecosystem, etc. The masses will jump on trendy games and what is the "hot" thing in their peer group. That being said, I would NEVER buy a console for one or two games. So, I wouldn't buy an NX just for Zelda, an Xbox just for Halo, or a Playstation just for Bloodborne. I buy based on the complete library that is available and the ability to deliver new IP on a somewhat consistent basis. Then, what else can the machine do. But, the first priority is games. The most powerful system with the greatest service does me no good if I am not interested in the games.

Listing games does not necessarily constitute the "best" reasons. Many of those games are great and worth owning but there's many reasons to own a PS4. Maybe a different title would have worked better here. Like 'The 8 Best Games on PS4', which still would have been subjective but at little more fitting.

I would probably take a list of the games as more important than any other reason to buy the system. There are other good reasons to buy the system....Rookie points some out at the top...despite his negative spin on most of them....but all those come in after the games.

I could personally add to that list from the article, include some multi-plat as well, and still not even get to the features which may be worth buying the system for, as those would still come in after all those.:)

Depends on perspective, I never said they weren't important I just said its not necessarily the best. In other words there are other things that could be included in the list other then just games.
