While Sony has said there are no plans to release sequels in its major franchises this financial year, ruling out new games in the Spider-Man and God of War series until at least April 2025, we do know of one new first-party PlayStation game coming out this year: Concord.
Firewalk shares the first in-depth look at the gameplay, universe, and characters of Concord.

Honestly this hooked me at the start, the characters look fun, the setting looks interesting and it had a bit of humour which was very Guardians of the Galaxy like but as soon as I saw the gameplay...I don't know, another live service shooter with characters who have their own special abilities and other things we've seen before a dozen times.
I wish they kept the characters and it was single player story driven, if they pulled it off it might have kickstarted a new franchise for them.
Looks trash the whole state of play was wack only good thing was god of war on pc
Guardians of the Galaxy-lite looks interesting, but it is a damn shame it is PvP without any PvE or SP element.
Aren't there enough established PvP games available?!
Is this a live service multiplayer game like Helldivers 2? Never heard of this game
Very interesting I hope we learn about concord
This is good for PS as a whole but I have been done with PVP shooters for about a decade now.
I would be so hyped if it was some kind of singleplayer title. But it's not. Still curious, that image is very cool.
