Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.
SPINE, developed by Nekki using Unreal Engine 5, is a single-player action game for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. SPINE seamlessly blends gunplay and melee combat, inviting players to unravel the mysteries of a world torn apart by technological tyranny.

Arkham combat system wouldn't have saved Kill the Justice League. It's still a piecemeal-ed together set of attempts at story to sell a GaaS system of repeating content.
Well that's true, but just saying, it might have been more fun, than it being manly a third person shooter. The GaaS part is definitely why I avoided the game altogether.
It has chops, and the executed animations are tight, but the virtual queue of wait-your-turn contenders looks like an awkward youtube fan-flick.
