Hopes are high as Open Roads allows us to take in a Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC road trip.
Games Asylum: "Whenever the term ‘road trip adventure’ is used, it’s easy to conjure images of unscheduled pitstops, backseat arguments, unforeseen accidents including vehicle breakdowns, drab motels, and gas stations frequented by dubious individuals. Open Roads is pitched as a road trip where a mother and daughter discover a startling family secret, and while it does include an argument and a motel pitstop, it’s also noticeably low on action and drama. It may even be the first ever video game road trip where everything goes to plan."
MonsterVine: "Open Roads may not be an exciting experience for all but it was for me and I’m pretty satisfied with it."
NoobFeed editor Jay Claassen writes - Open Roads is a brilliant change of pace for those who want just a story and a little mystery after some intense gaming. However, this might not appeal to everybody due to how slowly the story progresses, giving you only the smallest pieces to run with.
